By the mid-23rd century, when the action of our metaverse is settled, humans were highly relying on weather control satellites that used solar and microwave radiation to heat or cool specific areas of the globe, as a key method of climate regulation. And ever since the Android Wars began, Cyber Earth remained surrounded by rogue satellites which created a radiation field that affected the entire planet.

The nature and magnitude of the field are highly changeable and unpredictable. At any given time, it might have a significant influence on events at one location or none at all. Largely unaware of the satellites and the field, many of those now on Earth ascribe its effects to ‘magic’.

On the other hand, a group of Humans observed that this so-called ‘magic’ was starting to hurt their eyes and started to look for solutions…

How to reduce, as much as possible, the radiation effect upon the eyes?

This was the question the Humans started asking before coming up with the concept for the EvoGlasses, which turned out to be one of the most effective methods of protecting eyes from the radiation field. In fact, they were so good that other clans started wearing them soon!
